Data Entry Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to accurately enter, update, and maintain information in company databases and systems. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
Enter data into company databases and systems accurately and efficiently
Review information for errors and make corrections as needed
Maintain and update electronic records and files
Verify data by comparing it with source documents
Generate reports and retrieve information when requested
Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous data entry, administrative, or office experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Strong typing and data entry skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Westbrook, ME.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
