About the Role:

The Dog House Grooming in Tulare, CA is looking for a talented and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team! Responsibilities:

• Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, and haircuts
• Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other finishing grooming services
• Assess each dog's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments
• Handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments safely and compassionately
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming station and salon area
• Communicate with pet owners regarding grooming preferences and pet health observations
• Safely operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment

Requirements:

• 2 year Prior professional dog grooming experience preferred
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles and coat types
• Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for animal care
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
• Grooming certification or formal training is a plus
