Title: Helpdesk Support
Locations : Memphis TN
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $30 - $35/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive) Introduction This role involves providing support across various aspects of the IT environment. The position requires collaboration with IT Helpdesk, remote infrastructure support teams, and applications teams covering PC applications, network connectivity, and logistics applications. The candidate will be responsible for resolving IT service issues in a timely manner to minimize impact on business operations and customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- At least 5-7 years of work experience in a global IT organization.
- Ability to work independently in an IT organization.
- Experience supporting a logistics operation, including infrastructure (PCs, printers, scanners, networks) and applications (SAP).
- Experience working with Office 365 tools (Office, Teams, Delve, etc.).
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work on complex and globally distributed teams across many time zones.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to set priorities based on alignment with business goals and strategic direction, define timelines, and deliver to commitments.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications - Experience in Desktop Management - Infrastructure Services (IS).
- Experience in Logistics - Cargo Management.
- Experience in IT IS Service Desk and Process Management.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities - Provide front-line support for the logistics center and third-party logistics teams outsourced by the client.
- Participate in problem management by working with IT support teams and outsourced partners to drive ownership, identify and remove the cause of incidents, and minimize the impact of critical incidents.
- Participate in global team initiatives aimed at improving the effectiveness of logistics support, including process improvement activities.
- Coordinate risk assessments for unique logistics applications and hardware with the client's IT Risk Management and Security team.
- Participate in IT new service rollouts, software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve IT-related problems.
- Ensure employees and contractors engage with standard IT support processes and focus on areas where unique value can be added.
