Prediction markets are one of the fastest-growing corners of trading, and the biggest names in the industry are already moving in. A $10Bn+ systematic fund is building its own desk from scratch, and the pod is already seeded by ex top-tier prop traders.
There's no playbook to inherit. Strategy, team and tech are all still being decided, and the people who join now will shape the rest: which markets get traded, how the models are built, and who comes in next. It's the kind of seat that rarely opens up at a firm this size, with the capital, data and infrastructure of a multi-billion platform behind it and a direct line to senior investors.
The work: price the outcome of events and trade them live on Polymarket, Kalshi and other venues. Depending on where you're strongest, you might build the pricing models, the execution and risk tooling, or run the book.
Who it suits:
- 1 to 10 years of experience, with level flexible for the right person
- Trading prediction markets or building models to price them
- Strong math or computer science foundation
- Prop trading or systematic background is a big plus
- Wants ownership and a say in how the desk is built, and is comfortable in a team of a few
