Role Description

We’re seeking a remote TikTok Strategy & Creative Consultant with proven makeup and beauty industry experience to guide our founder and in-house marketing team on content strategy, influencer creative, and TikTok Shop growth.

This consulting role combines strategic planning with practical creative direction. You’ll develop content plans, write actionable briefs and strong hooks, review creative, and help our team turn performance insights into better content. The role also requires experience in TikTok Shop affiliate marketing and GMV Max.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop TikTok growth plans, content pillars, and calendars covering founder-led storytelling, makeup tutorials, product education, trends, and launches.

• Create briefs for influencers, UGC creators, and affiliates, including concepts, hooks, scripts, talking points, application demonstrations, shot lists, and calls to action.
\n
• Guide our in-house team on video formats, filming approaches, editing direction, and platform best practices.
\n
• Review content and provide specific feedback on hooks, pacing, product demonstrations, brand alignment, and conversion potential.
\n
• Advise on influencer and affiliate strategy, including creator selection, outreach, sampling, activation, and ongoing engagement.
\n
• Guide GMV Max strategy, including creative selection, testing priorities, budget recommendations, and performance optimization.
\n
• Analyze organic, affiliate, and paid performance to identify growth opportunities and recommend what to test, improve, and scale.
\n
• Advise on community engagement, commenting strategies, and creative testing across hooks, formats, and calls to action.

Qualifications

\n
• Direct experience working with makeup brands and beauty creators is required.
\n
• Demonstrated results growing beauty brands through TikTok content and TikTok Shop.
\n
• Strong understanding of makeup application, shade comparisons, product demonstrations, beauty trends, and consumer purchasing behavior.
\n
• Proven ability to write compelling hooks, scripts, and clear creative briefs.
\n
• Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop affiliate marketing and GMV Max.
\n
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to connect content performance to sales, acquisition costs, and return on ad spend.
\n
• Experience advising and collaborating with in-house teams, founders, influencers, and creators.
\n
• Excellent communication, organization, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
\n
• Familiarity with clean beauty and brand storytelling is preferred.
